Ms. Tabassum is an associate at Russel and Partners. She holds an LL.B. (Hons) degree from BRAC University and Master’s in Peace, Conflict & Human Rights Studies from Bangladesh University of Professionals (BUP). Additionally, she is certified in Social Dialogue and Human Resource Management under Industrial Dispute Settlement.

Ms. Tabassum works in the law firm’s Immigration Wing and specializes in Taxation and VAT. Her primary focus is on expatriate work visas for both local and multinational companies, as well as family visas for relevant employees when needed. She conducts day-to-day follow-ups with government authorities such as BIDA, SB, NSI, and relevant foreign ministries to ensure expatriates comply with work permit laws and remittance regulations. She regularly submits our clients’ annual tax returns and monthly VDS returns.
