What is the procedure for BIDA registration?

Local, international, and joint venture industries all go through the same registration process with BIDA. Any registration applications must be submitted online using BIDA’s One-Stop Service (OSS) Portal. If all information and paperwork are provided in accordance with BIDA’s requirements, registration is granted in 1 (one) day. The needed document list is listed on the portal, and further information can be found in the BIDA’s Guideline, which is also available on the website.
Required Documents:

  1. Certificate of Incorporation,
  2. Memorandum and Article of Association attested by an authorized person of the applicant company,
  3. Trade license from the concerned authority (where the factory is located) mentioning specific sector,
  4. Tax Identification Number (TIN) Certificate of the company,
  5. Land purchase agreement or rental agreement for the proposed project,
  6. List of directors with information on their nationality and address,
  7. Profile of the proposed investment project (if the project cost exceeds BDT 100.00 million),
  8. No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the concerned ministry/ directorate/ department for industries falls under the category of the controlled sector as per Industry Policy,
  9. Attachments of the company’s comments as per BIDA’s requirement.

Fees: BDT 28,000 excluding all the government fees.
Government fees: BDT 5,000 to 7,000.
