The procedure for obtaining the certificate of origin is an online process through the Dhaka Chamber of Commerce & Industry (DCCI) Membership Online Service (MOS) portal. The procedure to obtain the certificate is as follows:
Step 1: Fill up the E-Certificate of Origin (CO) Form from the portal and attached the required documents.
Step 2: Submit the Certificate of Origin Fees using any of DCCI’s payment options, whether online or offline. Those who choose to make an offline payment should obtain the Deposit Slip (PDF) from the website and pay the fees to the bank of their preference. (Eastern Bank Limited and The City Bank). Those who paid online will receive an email with a system-generated online Payment Slip.
Step 3: The concerned DCCI department will verify the papers after they have been received in their entirety. The Certificate of Origin will be certified by the DCCI’s concerned department after verification.
