An importer having Export Registration Certificate (ERC) can export any permissible item without any value and quantity restriction and without obtaining any permission from any authority.
The procedure for issuance of an Export Registration Certificate (ERC) has been simplified. It required the following procedure:
Step 1: Collect the ERC form from the office of Controller Export and Export.
Step 2: Collect and complete 3 copies of the Challan Form and deposit schedule fees at Bangladesh Bank or designated branches of Sonali Bank. Fees should be deposited under the head number: 1-1731-0001-1801.
Step 3: Submit the application form with recovery supporting documents. On submission of the necessary documents, Export Registration Certificate (ERC) will be issued within 3 (three) hours within the same day.
Required documents:
- Trade Licence;
- Membership Certificate from recognized Chamber/Trade Association;
- Tax Identification Number;
- Bank Certificate;
- Memorandum and Articles of Association and Certificate of Incorporation (in case of Limited Company).
Exporters shall pay registration and renewal fees at the following rates:
