We, Russel & Partners, in collaboration with Absolute Law P.C, a Canada-based law firm, successfully held an international seminar on the immigration system of Canada named ‘Immigration in Canada.’ The conference was held on 28th January 2023 at Six Seasons Hotel, Dhaka. The meeting was focused on the different streams of the Canadian immigration system and how people from Bangladesh can migrate to Canada.
From Russel & Partners team, our Managing Partner, Advocate Md. Russel Haque made the introductory speech where he introduced our chambers and discussed the immigration law of Bangladesh. Next, our Senior Partner, Barrister Afsana Rani Huq, explained the collaboration to the audience and the importance of having an immigration lawyer for immigration purposes during the migration process.
Barrister & Solicitor Mr. Maood Bin Tahir and Barrister & Solicitor Mr. Wasique Al-Azad Rakib joined us on behalf of the Canadian Law firm Absolute Law P.C. They are Canada-based lawyers who have expertise in Immigration Law. Mr. Rakib, an immigrant in Canada, explained the advantages of migrating to Canada. He also shared his personal experience as an immigrant in Canada which was inspirational for potential candidates. In addition to that, he also shared a brief introduction of Absolute Law P.C. and its scope of work. On the other hand, Mr. Tahir delivered the main speech solely focused on the different streams of the Canadian immigration process. After his speech there was an interactive session with the audience where Mr. Tahir and Mr. Rakib answered varieties of questions by the audience on the Canadian immigration process.
